Would recommend Rick to anyone and everyone looking to buy or sell in the greater Cedar Rapids area. My wife and I consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have worked with him in finding our first home. Rick was amazing to work with on the purchase of two investment properties. He was patient, asked great questions, was super responsive, and went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we were looking for. Throughout the offer/contract phases, we had several extra steps due to some back and forth with the insurance who needed extra photos and details, and Rick was always very encouraging and willing to jump in to problem-solve. If he didn't have an answer, he said so and then quickly figured it out using all his available resources. Even with a few stressful moments (that always seem to pop up when dealing with banks and insurers), Rick was quick to jump on the phone to get people what they needed and encouraged us throughout the process. I can't recommend Rick enough! We will 100% be working with him on any future purchases!

Mr. Povey was personable and looked at each property as though he was buying it, making recommendations and identifying both strengths and weaknesses, while not in any way overriding our impressions and opinions. More importantly, for us anyway, he kept within our parameters for what we wanted in a house and the amount we had to spend.

Rick was a tremendous agent to work with. Moving from Central Illinois, he spent two days showing me multiple houses in multiple towns. Was very communicative during the entire process and made sure to answer all questions. Even after the closing, he has been available for additional questions and assistance. Would highly recommend him for anyone looking to buy in the area. (And actually recommended him to my sister for her new house)!

Working with Rick was great. From the first showing through closing. If he didn’t have an answer, instead of making something up, he wasn’t afraid to admit it and would have an answer usually by the end of the day. It waa a smooth transaction.
